Advanced Capabilities Demonstration

During the summit presentation, according to reports, Mornine demonstrated multimodal environmental perception, autonomous navigation capabilities, and dexterous manipulation skills. The robot’s advanced question-and-answer functionality is powered by Chery Group’s proprietary AI model, showing sophisticated human-robot interaction potential. Industry analysts suggest these capabilities position the technology for diverse service applications beyond its automotive origins.

Comprehensive Regulatory Approval

The certification achievement includes three critical accreditations that the report states are essential for commercial deployment in European markets. These include CE-MED certification for machinery and safety standards, CE-RED for radio equipment compliance, and EN 18031 accreditation covering cybersecurity and data protection protocols. This comprehensive approval reportedly marks the first time a humanoid robot has secured such complete EU certification.

Automotive-Grade Robotics Development

Chery’s AiMOGA Robotics division is leveraging the company’s expertise in precision manufacturing and quality management to apply automotive-grade standards to service robotics. Analysts suggest this approach could accelerate the transformation from research innovation to scalable commercialization. The company’s background in system integration and manufacturing excellence reportedly provides significant advantages in developing reliable robotic systems that meet industrial standards.

Future Applications and Industry Impact

While developed within an automotive manufacturing context, AiMOGA’s technology according to reports has potential applications across multiple service sectors. The achievement of full EU certification enables broader commercial deployment opportunities in healthcare, logistics, and customer service environments. Industry observers suggest this milestone could accelerate adoption timelines for humanoid robotics in professional settings, though widespread commercial availability timelines remain unspecified.

The development represents Chery Group’s strategic expansion into advanced robotics, building on their automotive manufacturing foundation to potentially disrupt multiple service industries with automotive-grade robotic solutions.
